Standardize spot celebrations for efficiency and repeatability

HiThrive’s Occasions functionality allows organizations to pre-configure commonly sent spot celebrations, ensuring a consistent, streamlined, and on-brand recognition experience. Whether celebrating a new baby, a major achievement, a quarterly culture award, or other personal / team milestones, Occasions makes it easy for teams to send meaningful acknowledgments with just a few clicks.
Pre-Configured Celebrations – Standardize frequently used spot celebrations to ensure consistency.
One-Click Sending – Reduce time spent setting up individual celebrations.
Customizable Gift Options – Attach gifts, points, or personal messages to celebrations.
Brand-Aligned Messaging – Maintain a consistent recognition experience across teams.
Log into the HiThrive Admin Portal.
Navigate to the Occasions section under Spot Celebration Settings.
Click “Create Occasion” and enter the Occasion Name (e.g., “New Baby Celebration” or “Quarterly Culture Award”).
Add a Description (e.g. "Each manager may send 1 Above & Beyond award per quarter")
Select an Icon
Attach a predefined gift (such as a product, gift card, company swag, etc.).
The default country is "Rest of World" which is available to all team members regardless of location. When using "Rest of World" you can only select items that are available globally, which include points and swag.
To select other items, you will need to consider the locations of potential recipients and create a country and gifting option for each.
Note: You may also select specific country options and then a fallback "Rest of World" that applies to any country not separately identified.
Select the default card that is attached to your Occassion.
Note: You can add customized cards by following the steps outlined here.
Enable the Occasion, making it instantly available for senders.
Track usage analytics to monitor how often Occasions are sent and the impact they have.
