Learn how to create and monitor Challenges in Hithrive

HiThrive Challenges allow organizations to drive engagement by turning everyday work into fun, goal-oriented culture building activities.
Create Custom Challenges – Design unique challenges tailored to company goals, wellness programs, productivity boosts, and team-building activities.
Flexible Participation Options – Challenges can be open to all employees or targeted to specific teams or departments.
Automated Tracking & Reporting – Easily monitor challenge participation, completion rates, and results.
Point-Based & Incentive Rewards – Assign points or prizes for challenge completion to motivate employees.
Log in to your HiThrive Admin Dashboard.
Click on Challenges in the navigation menu.
Click the “+ Create Challenge” button.
Enter the Challenge Name (e.g., "Wellness Step Challenge" or "Innovation Sprint").
Add a Challenge Description to provide visible details on participation and goals.
Select the end date for the challenge.
Choose who can participate: all employees or specific segments.
Set completion requirements (e.g., task submissions, milestones, or activity tracking).
Assign points or gifts for completion.
Note: Once a challenge is submitted, the 'Challenge Moderators' receive a notification to Approve. Upon approval, the completion incentive gift is automatically sent.
Click “Publish Challenge” to make it live.
Use the dashboard to track participation, see who is excelling, and adjust settings if needed.
Announce the challenge through Slack or Microsoft Teams by hovering over the live challenge on the Challenges dashboard and selecting the 'share challenge' icon.
You can customize the post and select which channel(s) you would like for it to post to.
Be sure to select a user(s) to moderate challenges. This is a specific user role and can be designated on any user's profile.
Monitor real-time engagement with participation tracking.
