How to Create a Challenge in HiThrive
Step 1: Navigate to the Challenges Section

Log in to your HiThrive Admin Dashboard.

Click on Challenges in the navigation menu.
Step 2: Create a New Challenge

Click the “+ Create Challenge” button.

Enter the Challenge Name (e.g., "Wellness Step Challenge" or "Innovation Sprint").

Add a Challenge Description to provide visible details on participation and goals.

Select the end date for the challenge.
Step 3: Define Participation Rules

Choose who can participate: all employees or specific segments.

Set completion requirements (e.g., task submissions, milestones, or activity tracking).
Step 4: Set Up Rewards & Incentives

Assign points or gifts for completion.

Note: Once a challenge is submitted, the 'Challenge Moderators' receive a notification to Approve. Upon approval, the completion incentive gift is automatically sent.
Step 5: Launch & Monitor the Challenge

Click “Publish Challenge” to make it live.

Use the dashboard to track participation, see who is excelling, and adjust settings if needed.
Step 6: Share Challenge to Microsoft Teams or Slack
- Announce the challenge through Slack or Microsoft Teams by hovering over the live challenge on the Challenges dashboard and selecting the 'share challenge' icon.
- You can customize the post and select which channel(s) you would like for it to post to.
Step 7: Select Challenge Moderators
- Be sure to select a user(s) to moderate challenges. This is a specific user role and can be designated on any user's profile.
