TL;DR:
Navigate to the Nominations tab in the HiThrive web portal. Create your new campaign.
What are nominations?
Nominations campaigns are structured recognition initiatives where team members are encouraged to recognize and nominate their colleagues for specific achievements, behaviors, or contributions that align with the organization’s goals. You get to control everything – who can participate, the nomination criteria, where it lives, whether it includes reminders, and more.
How to create a new campaign
Step 1: Navigate to the Nominations tab in the HiThrive admin portal and select 'Create new campaign' (note: you must be a HiThrive admin to access).
Step 2: Create your campaign by filling in the 'Basic details"
Campaign title: the name of the nomination campaign
Campaign description: the message / explanation for team members. This is included with the public post and helps to guide your participants
Start date / End date: pre-schedule your campaign start date and end dates. If not included, the campaign will launch immediately and will stay open until manually ended
Eligible segments: the campaign participants. Restrict participation to specific team members or groups by creating a segment.
Share to: select a share channel (in Microsoft Teams or Slack). A channel must be added to your 'allowed share channels' list to be selected. You can edit your Allowed Share Channels list here.
Step 3: Add your Nomination questions.
Select 'Add a field' and enter the prompt / question (ex. Please share some details about why this team member is being nominated" or "What company value was demonstrated by this contribution"). Complete by selecting the Field type (text are, dropdown, checkbox), designating whether it is a required component of the submission and adding some helpful example text.
Text Input: single line.
Text Area: multi line.
Dropdown: pre-determined options (user can only select one)
Checkboxes: pre-determined options (user can select more than one)
Step 4: Set your submission limits
Maximum nominations per user: this limits the number of total submissions that each team member can make
Submissions with unique field value: this limits the number of submissions that a team member can make with a specific value. (ex. if you would like to allow a team member to nominate one colleague for each company value).
Step 5: Send!
