General Settings
Celebration time – the time that the private celebration notification is generated (in their time zone). The private notification is sent directly to the celebrating team member.
Public announcement frequency – whether the public celebration is posted daily, once per week, or once per month. Your preference may vary based on the size of your organization.
New Hire Rules
New Hire Rules rules apply to the private celebrations that each participating team member receives. Private celebrations are sent via email and give you the opportunity to craft a more personalized tone. If you attach gifts to your celebration, this is the message in which the team member will be notified.
Recipient segment – The segment of team members who the rule applies to. This could be "Active users" if you only want to create one rule for the organization, or it could be a specific rule that applies to only a subset of your team. For example, perhaps you would like to congratulate your part-time team members but determine that they are not eligible for a gift, you can create a rule specific to your "Part-time" segment.
Gift Options – Attach a gift (or points) or a selection of gifts to your new hire celebration. Click Edit gift options to begin. Gifts are specific to each country (as most gifts are not available globally). To keep it simple, you can simply attach points and allow your team members to redeem their points for a gift of their choosing. However, if you would like to select specific items, you will need to select an item(s) for each country that your team members are located.
The default country selector is Rest of World which simply means that you are selecting gifts for all countries for which you have not otherwise made a designation. You will see that with this country selection only a few catalogs may populate: points and maybe Company store (as you may have custom rewards which are not country specific).
To add specific gifts for a country, click the + sign and select the country of your choosing. Then select Add gift option and search from the items available.
To give your team members the choice between a few different items that you have selected, select the first gift and then select Add gift option which populates next to it. Upon selecting the second option you will now see an OR modifier in between the two gifts.
If you would like to give your team members the choice between a few different items plus another item that you have selected, complete the step above and then select Add additional gifts. Upon selecting the next gift you will see an AND modifier which signifies this designation.
Complete the above steps for as many countries as you may like.
Message – The private message that is sent to each celebrating team member.
First select your card design from the cards available or create your own that matches your visual identity.
Compose your Message. Given that the messages are sent via email, you can design the message as a simple note or as something more formal. Please see the list of tags that can by dynamically populated within your message.
Example: Welcome to the team {{name}}! We're thrilled to have you on board and can't wait to see the amazing things we'll accomplish together. Remember, we're here to support you every step of the way. Here's to the start of an exciting journey with us! 🌟🚀

Public Announcements
This is the public celebration that is posted for your company to see! By default, we group all celebrating team members (based on the frequency that you have selected above) and celebrate them together. But don't worry, each team member receives their own call-out to get their time in the sun. ☀️
Announcement time – the time that the public announcement (post) is generated.
Message – The public post that is generated.
First select your card design from the cards available or create your own that matches your visual identity.
Compose your Message. These messages are posted to your recognition platform and / or channel, so be mindful of the message format that would work best. Given that the announcements are grouped (if there are more than one team member celebrating), we will use the Advanced settings in this section. First, compose your new hire announcement and place the {{names}} tag where you would like the dynamic information to populate (tip: you may want to keep your dynamic tags for the end of your message so that you have the option of creating a bulleted list for multiple celebrations). Next, expand the Advanced settings section below and enter any additional information that you would like to dynamically populate for each team member. Perhaps you would like to bullet a list of the celebrating team members with their title, department, and a brief bio. You would do that by formatting like the below.
Message: Join in and give a warm welcome to our newest members! Let's make their journey with us inspiring and collaborative. Welcome aboard: {{names}}
Advanced settings: -{{name}}, {{title}}, {{department}}, {{bio}}
Post to – The destination channels for your post. If you're using the web app only, your celebrations will automatically be posted in your feed.
