Sending shoutouts in Slack is easy!

Start by navigating to a Slack channel that HiThrive is enabled within. Based on your organization's implementation, HiThrive may be enabled everywhere (in all Slack channels) or in only selected Slack channels. Your HiThrive account administrator will be able to provide this information.

Use the /HiThrive slash command. If you are finding this command difficult to remember, there are a handful of others that work as well (/shoutout, /kudos). Simply type /hithrive in your composition window and click the tab key.

Create your shoutout! You can tag team members anywhere within the text string.

Click send.

HiThrive will put together your shoutout for you – simply complete the remaining attributes: add points, tag a core value, select a GIF, send it.
