Navigate to the Rewards Settings tab in the Admin portal. Turn on desired catalogs.
Redemptions will not process if there are insufficient funds to cover the cost. To increase your purchased points balance, click Purchased Points in the top Nav of the Admin portal or click here.
Team members can access the available rewards catalogs directly from their Slack instance in the Home tab of the App or at https://team.hithrive.com/redeem.
What are Rewards?
Rewards are available to add extra impact to your recognition program. HiThrive offers catalogs of in-platform rewards opportunities spanning Amazon, gift cards, non-profit contributions, and customizable options so that your team members have near unlimited options to redeem points in a manner that creates lasting impact.
Once a team member has earned points in conjunction with a shoutout (learn more about points on shoutouts here) or award (learn more about awards here), they can easily redeem them through the team member rewards redemption portal. HiThrive facilitates notifications and fulfillment of the items on your behalf. Any resulting questions or customer service issues are handled by our Customer Success team too.
Additionally, you can create your own catalog of custom rewards (ex. lunch with an executive, additional day of PTO, company swag, etc.) and fulfill them on your own. We'll send you notifications when a team member has redeemed an item so that you know that it's on your to-do list to fulfill.
How to enable rewards
Step 1: Navigate to the Rewards Settings tab in the HiThrive Admin portal
Step 2: Enable the catalogs of your choosing
Step 3: Create a Custom rewards
Add items that are unique to your organization that you are responsible for fulfilling. These may cost nothing (a VIP parking spot for the day, a playlist for the company happy hour, etc.), may have material value (company swag), or time-value (an additional day of PTO).
For custom rewards, HiThrive will send admins a notification upon team member redemption to let you know that there is a reward to fulfill. A redemptions log can always be accessed in the Rewards Activity view. Once fulfilled, you can close it out as complete
*Note: HiThrive points always convert at 1 point = $0.01 (1 cent).
Step 4: Fund your rewards account

Step 5: Rewards are live
Rewards catalogs are designed to be easy (for both team members and administrators) and fulfilling. So as long as your account remains funded, HiThrive will facilitate the rest. Amazon products are shipped and eGift cards distributed in near real-time. HiThrive will send notifications to keep you in the loop.
Note: Team members earn points in conjunction with earning either shoutouts or awards. Design and activate points on shoutouts or awards to build point balances. Learn about points and add them to shoutouts and awards.
