TL;DR:
Navigate to the Awards tab in the Admin portal. Create a new award.
What are awards?
Awards are an impactful way to recognize an amazing team member contribution with a powerful public display / memento that aligns to your organizations culture & values. By creating awards that align to values and attributes that your organization reinforces, managers will be able to recognize the moment with the perfect celebration. At creation, awards are customized to align to your organizations culture and can optionally be associated with a point value. Points can of course be redeemed by the recipient for the rewards catalogs that you've enabled.
How to create awards
Step 1: Navigate to the Awards & Competitions tab in the HiThrive Admin portal
Step 2: Select + under the Awards header
Name: What the award is called (ex. Customer Service Superhero)
Description: What the award stands for within your organization and perhaps an example of why somebody would earn it.
Points: The point value of the award. Points accrue to the recipient's balance and can be redeemed for rewards (if enabled) or alternatively accrued as a sense of accomplishment
Banner design: Select your desired award card template If you have your own design, we can upload a custom template on your behalf. Visit How can I create custom award card designs? to learn how.
Step 4: Create award
