How do I send a shoutout in Slack?

TL;DR:

Use the recognition slash command /shoutout @name reason [Great job today!] to send a shout-out. Include multiple @names to send your shout-out to more than one person. 

Detailed: 

Step 1: Type slash command 

Step 2: Review shout-out dialog

Step 3: Add a GIF (optional)

Step 4: Select whether you would like for the shout-out to be public (can be seen by everybody in the designated channel) or provide (only seen by the recipient and administrators).

Step 5: Send!
