HiThrive is 100% free to use for teams of all sizes. However, we have a few optional paid add-ons that may accrue a charge. We try to be as transparent as possible with our pricing, because no one benefits from surprise fees and charges.
Whether you're a team of 2 or 20,000, we never charge a fixed per user fee. The users on your HiThrive team are automatically synced with the platform you used to sign-up for HiThrive (Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc).
Points & Rewards
You may choose to enable points & rewards for your team, which may require you to save a payment method. When you enable points, you'll set a monthly allowance that is applied to every manager on your team.
There are two types of rewards available on HiThrive:
- Free Custom Culture Rewards: These are redemptions that you handle internally when a user makes a redemption. This could be something like lunch with the CEO, a pizza party, or a day off.
- Paid Rewards: These are redemptions on catalogs like Amazon Business, which need to be manually enabled.
Points on HiThrive have no value and cost your team nothing, unless you have a Paid Rewards catalog enabled.
When a Paid Rewards catalog is enabled:
1 point = $0.01
We keep your account "topped-up" with points every month to ensure your team's point balance can cover your managers awarding points for that month. For example, if you have 2 managers and a point allowance of 1,000 points, you'll never pay more than $20/mo (plus 10% platform fee) and we'll make sure your account is topped up with 2,000 points so each manager can award 1,000 points.
- We collect a 10% platform fee on top-ups. This appears as a separate line on your invoices. For example, a top-up for 2,000 points ($20) will add 2,000 points to your team and cost you $22.
Your points rollover every month and never expire. For example, if one of your managers awards 1,000 points and the other doesn't award any points, your next top-up will only be for 1,000 ($10) points rather than 2,000.
When Paid Rewards & Custom Rewards are enabled:
Custom rewards are always free, so we issue a credit back to your team whenever a custom reward is redeemed. This ensures that you always have enough points to cover potential paid redemptions, but are reimbursed to potentially avoid unnecessary top-ups.
Because we credit custom reward redemptions back to your team, you may end up with a point surplus if a user on your team redeems points for a custom reward after a monthly top-up occurs. However, these points always rollover to the next month, so any extra points will be put towards your next top-up.
- The platform fee we collect in addition to your top-up amount is non-refundable and will not be credited back to your point balance when a custom reward redemption occurs.
